<p>Estas imagens são o trabalho da artista americana Kaycie Dunlap de Mineápolis-EUA. Ela é especializada em design de personagens.</p>
<p>Meu interesse em trazer estas imagens ao Farmacêutico Digital foi porque são personagens que representam os elementos da tabela periódica de uma forma divertida e bonita, unindo a arte à ciência.</p>
<blockquote class="tr_bq"><p>O projeto intitulado &#8220;Elementos&#8221; que, de acordo com a autora, é uma história que aspira a ser um programa de TV de animação semelhante no calibre de &#8220;Avatar &#8211; The Last Airbender&#8221;. A história se passa em um mundo cientificamente avançado, onde os seres humanos geneticamente alterados em fusão com o poder dos elementos químicos são apanhados no meio de uma longa guerra. A história segue o Noble Gás Neon &#8211; apelidado de &#8220;Neo&#8221; -. E seus amigos, que deve alinhar os elementos perdidos e acabar com a guerra.</p></blockquote>

<p>São resultado da tese de 2011 de Kaycie D. para o Milwaukee Institute of Art &; Design que apresentou uma versão animada para os <a href="https://farmaceuticodigital.com/2013/08/tabela-periodica-completa.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Elementos da Tabela Periódica</a>.</p>
<p>Neste projeto Dunlap define para cada elemento uma cor adequada com uma figura humana que representa um atributo do elemento.</p>
<p>Ex: Para elemento # 1, hidrogênio, um pequeno redemoinho azul encapsulado uma criança como pessoa com o slogan, &#8220;O hidrogênio é o menor, mais leve e mais abundante elemento do universo.&#8221; Ilustra de carbono representado uma figura feminina angular que transitou em três texturas , com o rosto e um braço estendido semelhante a um cristal porque, como Dunlap escreveu: &#8220;O carbono pode assumir a forma de carvão, grafite e diamantes.&#8221;</p>
